Lodge Logic Cornstick Pan

Lodge Logic Cornstick Pan
Nice, (What's this?) Nice. It has taken a few times to get the perfect cooking time and temperature. 400 for about 8-10 minutes. First I thought it was too small but with experience I have found this to be perfect, you may need more than one pan if you do not have time to let cool and start a new batch. My teenage kids thought the cornsticks were very "cool". I would of given it 5 stars if I had received cooking instructions with the pan.
Cute, but smaller than I thought, (What's this?) This "large" corn stick pan makes seven little 5 inch corn cakes. I wonder, if this is the large, how teeny-tiny must the mini pan be!

Still, I love cast iron cookware and my red pepper corn bread looked great at dinner. Overall, lots of fun to have.
Lodge Logic Cornstick Pan, (What's this?) Wonderful pan for cornsticks. My husband loves cornbread sticks instead of muffins. Works great. Had to learn how
to use it in order to keep the sticks from sticking. Trick was in putting a drop of shortening in each holder.
I love this pan!, (What's this?) A great way to serve corn bread. The corn sticks come out crispy and are a prefect size. I love the idea of the pan being pre-seasoned, it helps with clean-up. I use Jiffy brand corn bread mix and one pan uses 1/2 the batter so I wish I would have purchased two.
Nice way to serve it a little "cute", (What's this?) We entertain a great deal and are always looking for a nice way to change up old stand byes. This pan makes "cute" little ears of corn that look nice in a basket of a variety of breads. We bought two pans, as one only makes 7 "ears," generally not enough to serve guests and it takes a bit of time for the pan to cool to make a second batch. They are sturdy, stack for easy storage, and make attractive ears. I have not had any problem with sticking, as some mention, as I spray them well first with nonstick spray. While I generally mix up my own batter, I found that a box of premixed corn bread works great --one box per pan of ears.
Like Old Times!, (What's this?) Great pan. Works well if you know how to use it.Reminds me of the cornbread that my grandmother used to make. Pan comes already seasoned.
Another Great Logic Product, (What's this?) This is great preseasoned cast iron product. For great results, you must grease it extremely well and place it in the oven to preheat when you start heating your oven, then pour in batter only 1/2 way in each section.
One perfect, one...... a battle., (What's this?) If you are like me, and have purchased many of the fine products that Lodge Logic Mfg. offers here on Amazon, you just had to have this Suguaro Cactus pan and/or corn stick pan. Well, I had to have it because I raise cacti and succulents for a living:~) I purchased it along with the 7 stick corn stick pan, so this will be a review of both of them. As mentioned, I own several of the Lodge line, including a couple of skillets, a Dutch Oven, a grill, and a griddle pan, a Fajita pan, and several others, and had never had problems with food sticking. Not once has anything ever stuck to any of the pans that I have purchased. They all came pre seasoned, and like many here, I sometimes do not trust the "from the factory" seasoning, so I try to re season as many as possible. Having read all the reviews of this cactus pan and corn stick pan, I noticed that several people have had problems with their pans sticking. I thought there must have been something wrong for them to have sticking problems, after all, I have NEVER had a problem before.............. that's until I met my match with this cactus pan.
lodge logic cornstick pan, (What's this?) A quality cast iron product that will last a life time. This item is preseasoned. All you need to do is lightly spray it with cooking spray before use. After use, don't wash it it's cast iron, wipe clean and respray before storing. Great product.
reasonable price and good quality, (What's this?) This cast iron cookware is reasonably price and is of good quality. Solid heavy cast iron not cheap foreign import.

Renowned for its excellent cornbread-baking ability, grandmother’s cast iron skillet has been refashioned into this unique dish explicitly designed for baking cornbread. This pan measures 12 by 5-1/2 by 1 inches and houses seven impressions shaped like ears of corn. Simply make batter according to a favorite recipe and pour into the whimsical vessels. After baking, individual corn-shaped loaves carrying kernel markings are ready to be slathered with butter or served alongside chili. This Lodge cast-iron baking dish--manufactured in America’s sole remaining domestic cast-iron foundry--is unparalleled in durability as well as heat retention and dispersal. A variation on the traditional cast-iron construction, this pan is pre-seasoned with a proprietary vegetable-oil formula baked onto the cooking surface. Pre-seasoning allows for immediate use while preventing rust and creating a nonstick surface for easy food release and simplified cleaning. If cared for properly, this pan will last for generations. Cast iron should be hand washed; avoid using soap or detergent.
